DAD - A YEAR ON (22nd March 2018). It's been a year since we said goodbye, we all miss you greatly Every day we speak of you and remember how much you loved your family. We know that all you wanted, was us all to be happy To each make our own way in the world and to pursue our lives journey. We eight are now heading forward to future goals and dreams Knowing that you are beside us all, smiling like a sunbeam. To the family of Colin, Though I didn’t know him personally, i just wanted to share with you something that i have found to be comforting when losing loved ones in death. In reading the Bible, i have come to love the promise of being able to see our loved ones again in the near future. John 5:28-29 “ for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out...” Soon our dear loved ones will come back! God gives us this promise because he knows that we miss them and “because he (God) cares for you” the Bible says. Well, yesterday was Dad's funeral so he is finally at rest.I would like to thank, on behalf of the family,all those who attended and those who could not but were with us in their thoughts a very big thankyou.Also I would personally like to thank my brother for his wonderful tribute to our Father very fitting for the occasion and very moving,thankyou Graham.
